BIRDS IN WINTER
SWEET BIRDLOVE, GETTING READY FOR THE COLD!
Come on skinny love, just last the year
Pour a little salt, we were never here
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer

TANAKA NAOKO
Saw the performance of this artist last week in the Budatoren in Kortrijk, What a great visual experience to see and to hear!
YAJOI KUSAMA
YK said:
"My artwork is an expression of my life, particularly of my mental disease."
"My art originates from hallucinations only I can see. I translate the hallucinations and obsessional images that plague me into sculptures and paintings. All my works in pastels are the products of obsessional neurosis and are therefore inextricably connected to my disease. I create pieces even when I don’t see hallucinations, though."
London's Tate Modern just debuted a stunning new art installation by Yayoi Kusama that consists of hundreds of low-energy LED lights reflected by wall-to-wall mirrors. Dubbed the Infinity Mirror Room, the exhibit is a spectacular spacial void brimming with sparkling lights that dazzle and amaze visitors.

Visiting White night in Brussels was a great opportunity to see the city from his "dark side".
Saw some really interesting projects; see the pictures!
Richard Avedon completed his five-year portrait project "In the American West" more than 20 years ago. But the pictures it yielded, dramatically presented at Foam (Amsterdam), have lost none of their power or fascination.
Richard Avedon completed his five-year portrait project "In the American West" more than 20 years ago. But the pictures it yielded, dramatically presented at Foam (Amsterdam), have lost none of their power or fascination.
With a couple of assistants, a view camera and tripod, Avedon (1923-2004) roamed the Western states, avoiding the cities, searching for people willing to have their portraits taken.
